मध्वो॑ वो॒ नाम॒ मारु॑तं यजत्रा॒: प्र य॒ज्ञेषु॒ शव॑सा मदन्ति । ये रे॒जय॑न्ति॒ रोद॑सी चिदु॒र्वी पिन्व॒न्त्युत्सं॒ यदया॑सुरु॒ग्राः ॥ मध्वो वो नाम मारुतं यजत्राः प्र यज्ञेषु शवसा मदन्ति । ये रेजयन्ति रोदसी चिदुर्वी पिन्वन्त्युत्सं यदयासुरुग्राः ॥
Adorable (Maruts), the worshippers vigorously celebrate at sacrifices your appellation of company ofthe Maruts, they who cause the spacious heaven and earth to tremble, the clouds to rain, the move everywhere terrible.

madhvo॑ vo॒ nAma॒ mAru॑taM yajatrA॒: pra ya॒jJeSu॒ zava॑sA madanti । ye re॒jaya॑nti॒ roda॑sI cidu॒rvI pinva॒ntyutsaM॒ yadayA॑suru॒grAH ॥ madhvo vo nAma mArutaM yajatrAH pra yajJeSu zavasA madanti । ye rejayanti rodasI cidurvI pinvantyutsaM yadayAsurugrAH ॥

The Maruts verily are the benefactors of him who praises them, the gratifiers of the wishes of theinstitutor of the solemnity; do you, being plural ased, sit down today upon the grass at our ceremony, to partake (ofthe sacrificial food).

hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैताव॑द॒न्ये म॒रुतो॒ यथे॒मे भ्राज॑न्ते रु॒क्मैरायु॑धैस्त॒नूभि॑: । आ रोद॑सी विश्व॒पिश॑: पिशा॒नाः स॑मा॒नम॒ञ्ज्य॑ञ्जते शु॒भे कम् ॥ नैतावदन्ये मरुतो यथेमे भ्राजन्ते रुक्मैरायुधैस्तनूभिः । आ रोदसी विश्वपिशः पिशानाः समानमञ्ज्यञ्जते शुभे कम् ॥
No other (deities give) such (good things) as the Maruts, as they shine with brilliant (ornaments),weapons and person ns; illumining heaven and earth, wide-radiating, they heighten their common lustre for (our)good.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptऋध॒क्सा वो॑ मरुतो दि॒द्युद॑स्तु॒ यद्व॒ आग॑: पुरु॒षता॒ करा॑म । मा व॒स्तस्या॒मपि॑ भूमा यजत्रा अ॒स्मे वो॑ अस्तु सुम॒तिश्चनि॑ष्ठा ॥ ऋधक्सा वो मरुतो दिद्युदस्तु यद्व आगः पुरुषता कराम । मा वस्तस्यामपि भूमा यजत्रा अस्मे वो अस्तु सुमतिश्चनिष्ठा ॥
May that blazing (weapon) of your, Maruts, be far from us, although, through human infirmities, we offeryou offence; let us not, adorable Maruts, be exposed to your (shaft); may your favour the source of abundance,ever be shown to us.

May the Maruts, who are irreproachable, pure, and purifying, delight in this our ceremony; protect us,adorable Maruts, with favourable thoughts; be ever anxious to sustain us with food.
