नू चि॒त्स भ्रे॑षते॒ जनो॒ न रे॑ष॒न्मनो॒ यो अ॑स्य घो॒रमा॒विवा॑सात् । य॒ज्ञैर्य इन्द्रे॒ दध॑ते॒ दुवां॑सि॒ क्षय॒त्स रा॒य ऋ॑त॒पा ऋ॑ते॒जाः ॥ नू चित्स भ्रेषते जनो न रेषन्मनो यो अस्य घोरमाविवासात् । यज्ञैर्य इन्द्रे दधते दुवांसि क्षयत्स राय ऋतपा ऋतेजाः ॥
He who devotes his mind to the terrible Indra never falls (from his condition), nor will he perish; theprotector of sacred rites, the progeny of sacrifice, bestows riches on him who offers to Indra praises and prayerswith sacrifices.
english translation
यदि॑न्द्र॒ पूर्वो॒ अप॑राय॒ शिक्ष॒न्नय॒ज्ज्याया॒न्कनी॑यसो दे॒ष्णम् । अ॒मृत॒ इत्पर्या॑सीत दू॒रमा चि॑त्र॒ चित्र्यं॑ भरा र॒यिं न॑: ॥ यदिन्द्र पूर्वो अपराय शिक्षन्नयज्ज्यायान्कनीयसो देष्णम् । अमृत इत्पर्यासीत दूरमा चित्र चित्र्यं भरा रयिं नः ॥
That (wealth) Indra, which the prior has given to the posterior; which the elder may accept from theyounger; with which (the son) yet living dwells far away (separated from his father), confer, wonderful Indra, suchprecious riches upon us.

यस्त॑ इन्द्र प्रि॒यो जनो॒ ददा॑श॒दस॑न्निरे॒के अ॑द्रिव॒: सखा॑ ते । व॒यं ते॑ अ॒स्यां सु॑म॒तौ चनि॑ष्ठा॒: स्याम॒ वरू॑थे॒ अघ्न॑तो॒ नृपी॑तौ ॥ यस्त इन्द्र प्रियो जनो ददाशदसन्निरेके अद्रिवः सखा ते । वयं ते अस्यां सुमतौ चनिष्ठाः स्याम वरूथे अघ्नतो नृपीतौ ॥
May the man who is dear to you, Indra, present (oblations); may he be your friend, wielder of thethunderbolt, he (assiduous) in donations; may we be abounding in food through this favour of you who aredevoid of cruelty, (may we be in the enjoyment of) a dwelling giving shelter to men.

ए॒ष स्तोमो॑ अचिक्रद॒द्वृषा॑ त उ॒त स्ता॒मुर्म॑घवन्नक्रपिष्ट । रा॒यस्कामो॑ जरि॒तारं॑ त॒ आग॒न्त्वम॒ङ्ग श॑क्र॒ वस्व॒ आ श॑को नः ॥ एष स्तोमो अचिक्रदद्वृषा त उत स्तामुर्मघवन्नक्रपिष्ट । रायस्कामो जरितारं त आगन्त्वमङ्ग शक्र वस्व आ शको नः ॥
For you, Maghavan, this showering Soma (libation) cries aloud; to you the worshipper has recitedpraises; the desire of riches has fallen upon thine adorer, do you, therefore, Śakra, bestow quickly upon uswealth.

स न॑ इन्द्र॒ त्वय॑ताया इ॒षे धा॒स्त्मना॑ च॒ ये म॒घवा॑नो जु॒नन्ति॑ । वस्वी॒ षु ते॑ जरि॒त्रे अ॑स्तु श॒क्तिर्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥ स न इन्द्र त्वयताया इषे धास्त्मना च ये मघवानो जुनन्ति । वस्वी षु ते जरित्रे अस्तु शक्तिर्यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
Enable us, Indra, (to partake of) food granted by you, as well as those who, opulent (in sacrificialpresentations), spontaneously offer (you oblations); may there be power in thine adorer (to repeat) manylaudations; and do you ever cherish us with blessings.
