प्र ये गृ॒हादम॑मदुस्त्वा॒या प॑राश॒रः श॒तया॑तु॒र्वसि॑ष्ठः । न ते॑ भो॒जस्य॑ स॒ख्यं मृ॑ष॒न्ताधा॑ सू॒रिभ्य॑: सु॒दिना॒ व्यु॑च्छान् ॥ प्र ये गृहादममदुस्त्वाया पराशरः शतयातुर्वसिष्ठः । न ते भोजस्य सख्यं मृषन्ताधा सूरिभ्यः सुदिना व्युच्छान् ॥
Parāśara, the destroyer of hundreds (of rākṣasas), and Vasiṣṭha they who, devoted to you, haveglorified you in every dwelling, neglect not the friendship of you (their) benefactor; therefore prosperous daysdawn upon the pious.

द्वे नप्तु॑र्दे॒वव॑तः श॒ते गोर्द्वा रथा॑ व॒धूम॑न्ता सु॒दास॑: । अर्ह॑न्नग्ने पैजव॒नस्य॒ दानं॒ होते॑व॒ सद्म॒ पर्ये॑मि॒ रेभ॑न् ॥ द्वे नप्तुर्देववतः शते गोर्द्वा रथा वधूमन्ता सुदासः । अर्हन्नग्ने पैजवनस्य दानं होतेव सद्म पर्येमि रेभन् ॥
Praising the liberality of Sudāsa, the grandson of Devavat, the son of Paijavana, the donor of twohundred cows, and of two chariots with two wives, I, worthy (of the gift), circumambulate you, Agni, like theministrant priest in the chamber (of sacrifice).

च॒त्वारो॑ मा पैजव॒नस्य॒ दाना॒: स्मद्दि॑ष्टयः कृश॒निनो॑ निरे॒के । ऋ॒ज्रासो॑ मा पृथिवि॒ष्ठाः सु॒दास॑स्तो॒कं तो॒काय॒ श्रव॑से वहन्ति ॥ चत्वारो मा पैजवनस्य दानाः स्मद्दिष्टयः कृशनिनो निरेके । ऋज्रासो मा पृथिविष्ठाः सुदासस्तोकं तोकाय श्रवसे वहन्ति ॥
Four (horses), having golden trappings, going steadily on a difficult road, celebrated on the earth, theexcellent and acceptable gifts (made) to me by Sudāsa, the son of Paijavana, bear me as a son (to obtain) foodand progeny.

यस्य॒ श्रवो॒ रोद॑सी अ॒न्तरु॒र्वी शी॒र्ष्णेशी॑र्ष्णे विब॒भाजा॑ विभ॒क्ता । स॒प्तेदिन्द्रं॒ न स्र॒वतो॑ गृणन्ति॒ नि यु॑ध्याम॒धिम॑शिशाद॒भीके॑ ॥ यस्य श्रवो रोदसी अन्तरुर्वी शीर्ष्णेशीर्ष्णे विबभाजा विभक्ता । सप्तेदिन्द्रं न स्रवतो गृणन्ति नि युध्यामधिमशिशादभीके ॥
The seven worlds praise (Sudāsa) as if he were Indra; him whose fame (spreads) through thespacious heaven and earth; who, munificent, has distributed (wealth) on every eminent person n, and (for him) theflowing (rivers) have destroyed Yudhyamadhi in war.

इ॒मं न॑रो मरुतः सश्च॒तानु॒ दिवो॑दासं॒ न पि॒तरं॑ सु॒दास॑: । अ॒वि॒ष्टना॑ पैजव॒नस्य॒ केतं॑ दू॒णाशं॑ क्ष॒त्रम॒जरं॑ दुवो॒यु ॥ इमं नरो मरुतः सश्चतानु दिवोदासं न पितरं सुदासः । अविष्टना पैजवनस्य केतं दूणाशं क्षत्रमजरं दुवोयु ॥
Maruts, leaders (of rites), attend upon this (prince) as you did upon Divodāsa, the father of Sudāsa;favour the prayers of the devout son of Pijavana, and may his strength be unimpaired, undecaying.
