वायसेन च तेनैव सततं बाध्यमानया । बोधितः किल देव्या त्वं सुखसुप्तः परन्तप ॥ ५-६७-६
"O scorcher of enemies pained by the crow hurting her repeatedly, while you were sleeping happily, she woke you up and informed you about it. ॥ 5-67-6॥

vAyasena ca tenaiva satataM bAdhyamAnayA । bodhitaH kila devyA tvaM sukhasuptaH parantapa ॥ 5-67-6
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतां तु दृष्ट्वा महाबाहो दारितां च स्तनान्तरे । आशीविष इव क्रुद्धो निश्वसन्नभ्यभाषथाः ॥ ५-६७-७
"Seeing the blood flowing from her breasts you became furious like a hissing serpent and said : . - ॥ 5-67-7॥

tAM tu dRSTvA mahAbAho dAritAM ca stanAntare । AzIviSa iva kruddho nizvasannabhyabhASathAH ॥ 5-67-7
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनखाग्रैः केन ते भीरु दारितं तु स्तनान्तरम् । कः क्रीडति सरोषेण पञ्चवक्त्रेण भोगिना ॥ ५-६७-८
- 'You are of timid nature. Who has scratched your breasts with the tip of the nail? Who is sporting with an enraged five-hooded serpent'? ॥ 5-67-8॥

nakhAgraiH kena te bhIru dAritaM tu stanAntaram । kaH krIDati saroSeNa paJcavaktreNa bhoginA ॥ 5-67-8
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिरीक्षमाणस्सहसा वायसं समवैक्षथाः । नखै स्सरुधिरैस्तीक्ष्णैस्तामेवाभिमुखं स्थितम् ॥ ५-६७-९
'Seeing all over, at once I glanced at the crow that stood in front of her with sharp bloodstained nails. ॥ 5-67-9॥

nirIkSamANassahasA vAyasaM samavaikSathAH । nakhai ssarudhiraistIkSNaistAmevAbhimukhaM sthitam ॥ 5-67-9

'That crow, the foremost of the birds was the son of Indra moving about all over the earth swiftly. His speed matched the Wind-god's. ॥ 5-67-10॥
