स सागरमनादृष्यमतिक्रम्य महाबलः । त्रिकूटशिखरे लङ्कां स्थितां स्वस्थो ददर्श ह ॥ ५-२-१

The mighty Hanuman crossed the inviolable sea, stood comfortably on the peak of Trikuta mountain and looked at Lanka. [5-2-1]

english translation

ततः पादपमुक्तेन पुष्पवर्षेण वीर्यवान् । अभिवृष्टः स्थितस्तत्र बभौ पुष्पमयो यथा ॥ ५-२-२

Covered fully with the continuous shower of flowers dropped on him from the trees, heroic Hanuman appeared as though he was a heap of flowers as he stood there. [5-2-2]

english translation

योजनानां शतं श्रीमांस्तीर्त्वाप्युत्तमविक्रमः । अनिःश्वसन् कपिस्तत्र न ग्लानिमधिगच्छति ॥ ५-२-३

The glorious, powerful vanara (Hanuman) even after crossing a hundred yojanas, felt neither suffocated nor exasperated. [5-2-3]

english translation

शतान्यहं योजनानां क्रमेयं सुबहून्यपि । किं पुनः सागरस्यान्तं संख्यातं शतयोजनम् ॥ ५-२-४

(He said to himself), 'I can cross a distance of even hundreds of yojanas. What to say of a hundred yojanas which is a calculated distance.' [5-2-4]

english translation

स तु वीर्यवतां श्रेष्ठः प्लवतामपि चोत्तमः । जगाम वेगवान् लङ्कां लङ्घयित्वा महोदधिम् ॥ ५-२-५

Courageous and exalted Hanuman, the best among vanaras, noted for his speed reached Lanka crossing over the great ocean on his own. [5-2-5]
