मणिं दत्त्वा ततः सीता हनूमन्तमथाब्रवीत् | अभिज्ञानमभिज्ञातमेतद्रामस्य तत्त्वतः|| ५-३९-१

Sita gave the jewel to Hanuman and said, 'This signet ornament is known to Rama very well'. [5-39-1]

मणिं तु दृष्ट्वा रामो वै त्रयाणां संस्मरिष्यति | वीरो जनन्या मम च राज्ञो दशरथस्य च || ५-३९-२

'Seeing this jewel, Rama will recall three of us, my mother, myself and the king Dasaratha (as this was given by her mother at her marriage). [5-39-2]

स भूयस्त्वं समुत्साहे चोदितो हरिसत्तम | अस्मिन्कार्यसमारम्भे प्रचिन्तय यदुत्तरम् || ५-३९-३

'Great Hanuman you are enthused now. You may think over the future course of action. [5-39-3]

त्वमस्मिन्कार्यनिर्योगे प्रमाणं हरिसत्तम | हनुमन्यत्नमास्थाय दुःखक्षयकरो भव || ५-३९-४

'O best of monkeys it is your responsibility to carry out this task. O Hanuman become the one who can remove my misfortunes, by employing your effort. [5-39-4]
