अयं चास्मै प्रदातव्यो यत्नात्सुपरिरक्षितः । ब्रुवता वचनान्येवं सुग्रीवस्योपशृण्वतः ॥ ५-६५-२१
'Within hearing of Sugriva, tell him about your efforts. Present this (signet) to Rama carefully preserved by me. ॥ 5-65-21॥
english translation
ayaM cAsmai pradAtavyo yatnAtsuparirakSitaH । bruvatA vacanAnyevaM sugrIvasyopazRNvataH ॥ 5-65-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएष चूडामणिश्श्रीमान् मया सुपरिरक्षितः । मनश्शिलायास्तिलको गण्डपार्श्वे निवेशितः ॥ ५-६५-२२
'This auspicious (jewel) Chudamani has been preserved by me very carefully. Remind him of the decorative red mark he painted with a stone pigment on my forehead - ॥ 5-65-22॥
english translation
eSa cUDAmaNizzrImAn mayA suparirakSitaH । manazzilAyAstilako gaNDapArzve nivezitaH ॥ 5-65-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वया प्रणष्ठे तिलके तं किल स्मर्तुमर्हसि । एष निर्यातितश्श्रीमान्मया ते वारि सम्भवः ॥ ५-६५-२३
- indeed, it is proper to remind him of this (tilak, mark on the forehead). (Tell Rama) that this auspicious Chudamani born in the ocean is sent to him and . - ॥ 5-65-23॥
english translation
tvayA praNaSThe tilake taM kila smartumarhasi । eSa niryAtitazzrImAnmayA te vAri sambhavaH ॥ 5-65-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतं दृष्ट्वा प्रहृष्यामि व्यसने त्वामिवानघ । जीवितं धारयिष्यामि मासं दशरथात्मज ॥ ५-६५-२४
- and I was gazing at it as if it was him sinless one (Rama) and feeling happy. O Son of Dasaratha I will hold on to life for a month. ॥ 5-65-24॥

etaM dRSTvA prahRSyAmi vyasane tvAmivAnagha । jIvitaM dhArayiSyAmi mAsaM dazarathAtmaja ॥ 5-65-24
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऊर्ध्वं मासान्न जीवेयं रक्षसां वशमागता । इति मामब्रवीत्सीता कृशाङ्गी धर्मचारिणी ॥ ५-६५-२५
'Captured by the demons, I will not live for more than a month'. She (Sita) said this to me ith her limbs emaciated through austerities . - ॥ 5-65-25॥

UrdhvaM mAsAnna jIveyaM rakSasAM vazamAgatA । iti mAmabravItsItA kRzAGgI dharmacAriNI ॥ 5-65-25
