अनासिकां सिंहमुखीं गोमुखीं सूकरीमुखीम् । यथा मद्वशगा सीता क्षिप्रं भवति जानकी ॥ ५-२२-३६
'One had no nose and still another had a lion face and yet another the face of a cow. How the daughter of Janaka, Sita becomes under my control quickly - [5-22-36]

तथा कुरुत राक्षस्यः सर्वाः क्षिप्रं समेत्य च । प्रतिलोमानुलोमैश्च सामदानादिभेदनैः ॥ ५-२२-३७
- O demonesses, thus all of you together do that task. By adopting means favourable or contrary to her will or through persuasion or coercion or through reward . - [5-22-37]

आवर्जयत वैदेहीं दण्डस्योद्यमनेन च । इति प्रतिसमादिश्य राक्षसेन्द्रः पुनः पुनः ॥ ५-२२-३८
- or punishment, draw Vaidehi's mind towards me.' (said Ravana). The demon king repeatedly commanded the ogresses . - [5-22-38]

काममन्युपरीतात्मा जानकीं पर्यतर्जयत् । उपगम्य ततः शीघ्रं राक्षसी धान्यमालिनी ॥ ५-२२-३९

परिष्वज्य दशग्रीवमिदं वचनमब्रवीत् । मया क्रीड महाराज सीतया किं तवानया ॥ ५-२२-४०
