सुखार्हस्य महार्हस्य सर्वभूतहितात्मनः | ऐश्वर्येण च हीनस्य वनवासाश्रितस्य च || ४-४-१३

sanskrit

'This man who should have lived in comfort and in reverence, one who is the well-wishers of all beings lost his wealth and was banished into the forest. [4-4-13]

english translation

sukhArhasya mahArhasya sarvabhUtahitAtmanaH | aizvaryeNa ca hInasya vanavAsAzritasya ca || 4-4-13
