सुखार्हस्य महार्हस्य सर्वभूतहितात्मनः । ऐश्वर्येण च हीनस्य वनवासाश्रितस्य च ॥ ४-४-१३

sanskrit

'This man who should have lived in comfort and in reverence, one who is the well-wishers of all beings lost his wealth and was banished into the forest. ॥ 4-4-13॥

english translation

sukhArhasya mahArhasya sarvabhUtahitAtmanaH । aizvaryeNa ca hInasya vanavAsAzritasya ca ॥ 4-4-13
