सन्ततिश्च यथा दृष्टा कृत्यं यच्चापि साम्प्रतम् | राज्ञस्तत्क्रियतां सर्वमेष कालस्य निश्चयः || ४-२१-१०

sanskrit

'Whatever duty anticipated from a male descendent towards his father, and whatever activity that is to be done presently in respect of the dying king, let them be done, and that would be a timely decision. [4-21-10]

english translation

santatizca yathA dRSTA kRtyaM yaccApi sAmpratam | rAjJastatkriyatAM sarvameSa kAlasya nizcayaH || 4-21-10
