महिषो दुन्दुभिर्नाम कैलासशिखरप्रभः । बलं नागसहस्रस्य धारयामास वीर्यवान् ॥ ४-११-७
'( Once there was ) Massive like the shining peak of mount Kailas and valiant like the mighty buffalo in form, Dundubhi possessed the strength of a thousand elephants. [4-11-7]
