इत्युक्त्वाऽथ विनिष्क्रम्य ददर्श मुनिसत्तमः । महिषं पर्वताकारं गतासुं पतितं भुवि ॥ ४-११-५१
'The venerable sage came out of the hermitage and saw a mountainous buffalo fallen dead on the floor. ॥ 4-11-51॥
english translation
ityuktvA'tha viniSkramya dadarza munisattamaH । mahiSaM parvatAkAraM gatAsuM patitaM bhuvi ॥ 4-11-51
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस तु विज्ञाय तपसा वानरेण कृतं हि तत् । उत्ससर्ज महाशापं क्षेप्तारं वालिनं प्रति ॥ ४-११-५२
'Having known through his ascetic vision that it was the act of a monkey, he pronounced a curse on Vali who had hurled ( the body ) ॥ 4-11-52॥
english translation
sa tu vijJAya tapasA vAnareNa kRtaM hi tat । utsasarja mahAzApaM kSeptAraM vAlinaM prati ॥ 4-11-52
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइह तेनाप्रवेष्टव्यं प्रविष्टस्य वधो भवेत् । वनं मत्संश्रयं येन दूषितं रुधिरस्रवैः ॥ ४-११-५३
'Whoever has desecrated this forest, protected by me, with drops of blood is forbidden to enter this place. Once he does it, he will die. ॥ 4-11-53॥
english translation
iha tenApraveSTavyaM praviSTasya vadho bhavet । vanaM matsaMzrayaM yena dUSitaM rudhirasravaiH ॥ 4-11-53
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसम्भग्नाः पादपाश्चैमेक्षिपतेहासुरीं तनुम् । समन्तादाद्योजनं पूर्णमाश्रमं मामकं यदि ॥ ४-११-५४
'Whoever has broken the trees all over this forest and has thrown the demon's body, if, within a radius of one yojana of my hermitage - ॥ 4-11-54॥
english translation
sambhagnAH pAdapAzcaimekSipatehAsurIM tanum । samantAdAdyojanaM pUrNamAzramaM mAmakaM yadi ॥ 4-11-54
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआगमिष्यति दुर्बुद्धिर्व्यक्तं स न भविष्यति । ये चापि सचिवाः स्तस्य संश्रिता मामकं वनम् ॥ ४-११-५५
- that wicked one enters, he will not survive. Indeed his counsellors who have taken refuge in my forest - ॥ 4-11-55॥
english translation
AgamiSyati durbuddhirvyaktaM sa na bhaviSyati । ye cApi sacivAH stasya saMzritA mAmakaM vanam ॥ 4-11-55
