सभाचत्वररथ्याढ्यां विमानैर्न्यर्बुदैर्वृताम् । शृङ्गाटकैर्मणिमयैर्वज्रविद्रुमवेदिभिः ॥ ८-१५-१६ ॥
The city was full of courtyards, wide roads, assembly houses, and not less than one hundred million airplanes. The crossroads were made of pearl, and there were sitting places made of diamond and coral. ॥ 8-15-16 ॥

यह नगरी आँगनों, चौे मार्गों, सभाभवनों तथा कम से कम दस करोड़ विमानों से पूर्ण थी। चौराहे मोती से बने थे और भी हीरे तथा मूँगे से बने थे। ॥ ८-१५-१६ ॥

यत्र नित्यवयोरूपाः श्यामा विरजवाससः । भ्राजन्ते रूपवन्नार्यो ह्यर्चिर्भिरिव वह्नयः ॥ ८-१५-१७ ॥
Everlastingly beautiful and youthful women, who were dressed with clean garments, glittered in the city like fires with flames. They all possessed the quality of śyāmā. ॥ 8-15-17 ॥

उस पुरी में नित्य सुन्दर तथा तरुण स्त्रियाँ स्वच्छ वस्त्र पहने ज्वालाओं से युक्त अग्नियों की भाँति चमक रही थीं। उन सब में श्यामा के गुण विद्यमान थे ॥ ॥ ८-१५-१७ ॥

सुरस्त्रीकेशविभ्रष्टनवसौगन्धिकस्रजाम् । यत्रामोदमुपादाय मार्ग आवाति मारुतः ॥ ८-१५-१८ ॥
The breezes blowing in the streets of the city bore the fragrance of the flowers falling from the hair of the women of the demigods. ॥ 8-15-18 ॥

उस पुरी की सडक़ों में से होकर बहने वाला मन्द समीर देवताओं की स्त्रियों के बालों से गिरे फूलों की सुंगधि से युक्त था। ॥ ८-१५-१८ ॥

Apsarās passed on the streets, which were covered with the white, fragrant smoke of aguru incense emanating from windows with golden filigree. ॥ 8-15-19 ॥

अप्सराएँ जिन सडक़ों से होकर गुजरती थीं वे अगुरु के श्वेत सुगन्धित धुएँ से ढकी हुई थीं जो सुनहरी तारकशी वाली खिड़कियों से निकल रहा था। ॥ ८-१५-१९ ॥

मुक्तावितानैर्मणिहेमकेतुभिर्नानापताकावलभीभिरावृताम् । शिखण्डिपारावतभृङ्गनादितां वैमानिकस्त्रीकलगीतमङ्गलाम् ॥ ८-१५-२० ॥
The city was shaded by canopies decorated with pearls, and the domes of the palaces had flags of pearl and gold. The city always resounded with the vibrations of peacocks, pigeons and bees, and above the city flew airplanes full of beautiful women who constantly chanted auspicious songs that were very pleasing to the ear. ॥ 8-15-20 ॥

नगरी में मोतियों से सजे चँदोवे की छाया पड़ रही थी और महलों की गुम्बदों में मोती तथा सोने की पताकाएँ थीं। वह नगरी सदा मोरों, कबूतरों तथा भौरों की ध्वनि से गूँजती रहती थी। उसके ऊपर विमान उड़ते रहते थे, जो कानों को अच्छे लगने वाले मधुर गीतों का निरन्तर गायन करने वाली सुन्दर स्त्रियों से भरे रहते थे। ॥ ८-१५-२० ॥
