अद्य नो जन्मसाफल्यं विद्यायास्तपसो दृशः । त्वया सङ्गम्य सद्गत्या यदन्तः श्रेयसां परः ।। १०-८४-२१ ।।

Today our birth, education, austerity and vision have all become perfect because we have been able to associate with You, the goal of all saintly persons. Indeed, You Yourself are the ultimate, supreme blessing. ।। 10-84-21 ।।

english translation

आज हमारा जन्म, शिक्षा, तपस्या और दर्शन सभी उत्तम हो गये हैं क्योंकि हम सभी संतों के लक्ष्य आपके साथ जुड़ने में सक्षम हो गये हैं। वास्तव में, आप स्वयं परम, सर्वोच्च आशीर्वाद हैं। ।। १०-८४-२१ ।।

adya no janmasAphalyaM vidyAyAstapaso dRzaH | tvayA saGgamya sadgatyA yadantaH zreyasAM paraH || 10-84-21 ||

नमस्तस्मै भगवते कृष्णायाकुण्ठमेधसे । स्वयोगमाययाच्छन्नमहिम्ने परमात्मने ।। १०-८४-२२ ।।

Let us offer obeisances unto that Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the infinitely intelligent Supersoul, who has disguised His greatness through His mystic Yoga-māyā. ।। 10-84-22 ।।

english translation

आइए हम उस परम व्यक्तित्व, भगवान कृष्ण, असीम बुद्धिमान परमात्मा को नमस्कार करें, जिन्होंने अपनी रहस्यमय योग-माया के माध्यम से अपनी महानता को छिपा लिया है। ।। १०-८४-२२ ।।

न यं विदन्त्यमी भूपा एकारामाश्च वृष्णयः । मायाजवनिकाच्छन्नमात्मानं कालमीश्वरम् ।। १०-८४-२३ ।।

Neither these kings nor even the Vṛṣṇis, who enjoy Your intimate association, know You as the Soul of all existence, the force of time and the supreme controller. For them You are covered by the curtain of Māyā. ।। 10-84-23 ।।

english translation

न तो ये राजा और न ही वृष्णि, जो आपकी अंतरंग संगति का आनंद लेते हैं, आपको सभी अस्तित्व की आत्मा, समय की शक्ति और सर्वोच्च नियंत्रक के रूप में जानते हैं। उनके लिए आप माया के पर्दे से ढके हुए हैं। ।। १०-८४-२३ ।।

यथा शयानः पुरुष आत्मानं गुणतत्त्वदृक् । नाममात्रेन्द्रियाभातं न वेद रहितं परम् ।। १०-८४-२४ ।।

A sleeping person imagines an alternative reality for himself and, seeing himself as having various names and forms, forgets his waking identity, which is distinct from the dream. ।। 10-84-24 ।।

english translation

एक सोता हुआ व्यक्ति अपने लिए एक वैकल्पिक वास्तविकता की कल्पना करता है और, खुद को विभिन्न नामों और रूपों के रूप में देखकर, अपनी जागृत पहचान को भूल जाता है, जो सपने से अलग है। ।। १०-८४-२४ ।।

yathA zayAnaH puruSa AtmAnaM guNatattvadRk | nAmamAtrendriyAbhAtaM na veda rahitaM param || 10-84-24 ||

एवं त्वा नाममात्रेषु विषयेष्विन्द्रियेहया । मायया विभ्रमच्चित्तो न वेद स्मृत्युपप्लवात् ।। १०-८४-२५ ।।

Similarly, the senses of one whose consciousness is bewildered by illusion perceive only the names and forms of material objects. Thus such a person loses his memory and cannot know You. ।। 10-84-25 ।।

english translation

इसी प्रकार, जिसकी चेतना माया से भ्रमित हो जाती है, उसकी इंद्रियाँ केवल भौतिक वस्तुओं के नाम और रूप को ही देखती हैं। इस प्रकार ऐसा व्यक्ति अपनी याददाश्त खो देता है और आपको नहीं जान पाता। ।। १०-८४-२५ ।।
