तस्याद्य ते ददृशिमाङ्घ्रिमघौघमर्षतीर्थास्पदं हृदि कृतं सुविपक्वयोगैः । उत्सिक्तभक्त्युपहताशयजीवकोशा आपुर्भवद्गतिमथोऽनुगृहाण भक्तान् ॥ १०-८४-२६ ॥
Today we have directly seen Your feet, the source of the holy Ganges, which washes away volumes of sins. Perfected yogīs can at best meditate upon Your feet within their hearts. But only those who render You wholehearted devotional service and in this way vanquish the soul’s covering — the material mind — attain You as their final destination. Therefore kindly show mercy to us, Your devotees. ॥ 10-84-26 ॥

आज हमने पवित्र गंगा के स्रोत, आपके चरणों का प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन किया है, जो अनेक पापों को धो देती है। सिद्ध योगी अधिक से अधिक अपने हृदय में आपके चरणों का ध्यान कर सकते हैं। लेकिन केवल वे ही जो आपको पूरे दिल से भक्तिपूर्ण सेवा प्रदान करते हैं और इस तरह आत्मा के आवरण - भौतिक मन - को जीतते हैं - अपने अंतिम गंतव्य के रूप में आपको प्राप्त करते हैं। अत: हम अपने भक्तों पर कृपा करें। ॥ १०-८४-२६ ॥

श्रीशुक उवाच इत्यनुज्ञाप्य दाशार्हं धृतराष्ट्रं युधिष्ठिरम् । राजर्षे स्वाश्रमान् गन्तुं मुनयो दधिरे मनः ॥ १०-८४-२७ ॥
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Having thus spoken, O wise king, the sages then took leave of Lord Dāśārha, Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Yudhiṣṭhira and prepared to depart for their āśramas. ॥ 10-84-27 ॥
english translation
शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा: हे बुद्धिमान राजा, ऐसा कहने के बाद, ऋषियों ने भगवान दशार्ह, धृतराष्ट्र और युधिष्ठिर से विदा ली और अपने आश्रमों के लिए प्रस्थान करने के लिए तैयार हो गए। ॥ १०-८४-२७ ॥

तद्वीक्ष्य तानुपव्रज्य वसुदेवो महायशाः । प्रणम्य चोपसङ्गृह्य बभाषेदं सुयन्त्रितः ॥ १०-८४-२८ ॥
Seeing that they were about to leave, the renowned Vasudeva approached the sages. After bowing down to them and touching their feet, he spoke to them with carefully chosen words. ॥ 10-84-28 ॥

यह देखकर कि वे जाने ही वाले थे, प्रसिद्ध वासुदेव ऋषियों के पास आये। उन्हें प्रणाम करने और उनके पैर छूने के बाद, उन्होंने सावधानी से चुने गए शब्दों में उनसे बात की। ॥ १०-८४-२८ ॥

वसुदेव उवाच नमो वः सर्वदेवेभ्य ऋषयः श्रोतुमर्हथ । कर्मणा कर्मनिर्हारो यथा स्यान्नस्तदुच्यताम् ॥ १०-८४-२९ ॥
Śrī Vasudeva said: Obeisances to you, the residence of all the demigods. Please hear me, O sages. Kindly tell us how the reactions of one’s work can be counteracted by further work. ॥ 10-84-29 ॥

श्री वासुदेव ने कहा: सभी देवताओं के निवास, आपको नमस्कार है। हे मुनियों, कृपया मेरी बात सुनो। कृपया हमें बताएं कि किसी के काम की प्रतिक्रियाओं को आगे के काम से कैसे दूर किया जा सकता है। ॥ १०-८४-२९ ॥

नारद उवाच नाति चित्रमिदं विप्रा वसुदेवो बुभुत्सया । कृष्णं मत्वार्भकं यन्नः पृच्छति श्रेय आत्मनः ॥ १०-८४-३० ॥
Śrī Nārada Muni said: O brāhmaṇas, it is not so amazing that in his eagerness to know, Vasudeva has asked us about his ultimate benefit, for he considers Kṛṣṇa a mere boy. ॥ 10-84-30 ॥

श्री नारद मुनि ने कहा: हे ब्राह्मणों, यह इतना आश्चर्यजनक नहीं है कि जानने की उत्सुकता में, वासुदेव ने हमसे उनके अंतिम लाभ के बारे में पूछा, क्योंकि वे कृष्ण को केवल एक लड़का मानते हैं। ॥ १०-८४-३० ॥
