ददुः स्वन्नं द्विजाग्र्येभ्यः कृष्णे नो भक्तिरस्त्विति । स्वयं च तदनुज्ञाता वृष्णयः कृष्णदेवताः ।। १०-८२-११ ।।

sanskrit

fed first-class brāhmaṇas with sumptuous food. All the while they prayed, “May we be granted devotion to Lord Kṛṣṇa.” Then, with the permission of Lord Kṛṣṇa, their sole object of worship, ।। 10-82-11 ।।

english translation

प्रथम श्रेणी के ब्राह्मणों को उत्तम भोजन खिलाया। पूरे समय वे प्रार्थना करते रहे, "हमें भगवान कृष्ण की भक्ति प्राप्त हो।" फिर, भगवान कृष्ण की अनुमति से, जो उनकी पूजा के एकमात्र उद्देश्य हैं, ।। १०-८२-११ ।।

भुक्त्वोपविविशुः कामं स्निग्धच्छायाङ्घ्रिपाङ्घ्रिषु । तत्रागतांस्ते ददृशुः सुहृत्सम्बन्धिनो नृपान् ।। १०-८२-१२ ।।

the Vṛṣṇis ate breakfast and sat down at their leisure beneath trees that gave cooling shade. The Yādavas saw that many of the kings who had arrived were old friends and relatives ।। 10-82-12 ।।

english translation

वृष्णियों ने नाश्ता किया और ठंडी छाया देने वाले पेड़ों के नीचे आराम से बैठ गए। यादवों ने देखा कि जो राजा आये थे उनमें से कई पुराने मित्र और रिश्तेदार थे ।। १०-८२-१२ ।।

the Matsyas, Uśīnaras, Kauśalyas, Vidarbhas, Kurus, Sṛñjayas, Kāmbojas, Kaikayas, Madras, Kuntīs and the kings of Ānarta and Kerala. ।। 10-82-13 ।।

मत्स्य, उशीनर, कौशल्य, विदर्भ, कौरव, सृंजय, कंबोज, कैकय, मद्रास, कुंती और आनर्त और केरल के राजा। ।। १०-८२-१३ ।।

अन्यांश्चैवात्मपक्षीयान् परांश्च शतशो नृप । नन्दादीन् सुहृदो गोपान् गोपीश्चोत्कण्ठिताश्चिरम् ।। १०-८२-१४ ।।

They also saw many hundreds of other kings, both allies and adversaries. In addition, my dear King Parīkṣit, they saw their dear friends Nanda Mahārāja and the cowherd men and women, who had been suffering in anxiety for so long. ।। 10-82-14 ।।

english translation

उन्होंने कई सैकड़ों अन्य राजाओं को भी देखा, दोनों सहयोगी और विरोधी। इसके अलावा, मेरे प्रिय राजा परीक्षित, उन्होंने अपने प्रिय मित्र नंद महाराज और ग्वाले पुरुषों और महिलाओं को देखा, जो इतने लंबे समय से चिंता में पीड़ित थे। ।। १०-८२-१४ ।।

अन्योन्यसन्दर्शनहर्षरंहसा प्रोत्फुल्लहृद्वक्त्रसरोरुहश्रियः । आश्लिष्य गाढं नयनैः स्रवज्जला हृष्यत्त्वचो रुद्धगिरो ययुर्मुदम् ।। १०-८२-१५ ।।

sanskrit

As the great joy of seeing one another made the lotuses of their hearts and faces bloom with fresh beauty, the men embraced one another enthusiastically. With tears pouring from their eyes, the hair on their bodies standing on end and their voices choked up, they all felt intense bliss. ।। 10-82-15 ।।

english translation

जैसे ही एक-दूसरे को देखने की अपार खुशी ने उनके दिलों और चेहरों के कमलों को ताजा सुंदरता से खिल दिया, पुरुषों ने उत्साहपूर्वक एक-दूसरे को गले लगा लिया। उनकी आँखों से आँसू बह रहे थे, उनके शरीर पर बाल खड़े थे और उनकी आवाज़ें अवरुद्ध थीं, उन सभी को तीव्र आनंद महसूस हुआ। ।। १०-८२-१५ ।।
