मेनिरे कृष्णभक्तस्य सूपपन्नमविस्मिताः । अयाजयन् महाराजं याजका देववर्चसः ॥ १०-७४-१६ ॥
They were not in the least astonished to see the opulence of the sacrifice, since it was quite appropriate for a devotee of Lord Kṛṣṇa. The priests, as powerful as gods, ॥ 10-74-16 ॥

राजसूयेन विधिवत्प्रचेतसमिवामराः । सौत्येऽहन्यवनीपालो याजकान् सदसस्पतीन् । अपूजयन्महाभागान् यथावत्सुसमाहितः ॥ १०-७४-१७ ॥
Performed the Rājasūya sacrifice for King Yudhiṣṭhira in accordance with the Vedic injunctions, just as the demigods had previously performed it for Varuṇa. On the day of extracting the soma juice, King Yudhiṣṭhira properly and very attentively worshiped the priests and the most exalted personalities of the assembly. ॥ 10-74-17 ॥

वैदिक आदेशों के अनुसार राजा युधिष्ठिर के लिए राजसूय यज्ञ किया, जैसे पहले देवताओं ने वरुण के लिए किया था। सोम रस निकालने के दिन राजा युधिष्ठिर ने पुरोहितों तथा सभा के श्रेष्ठ व्यक्तियों की विधिपूर्वक तथा बड़े ध्यान से पूजा की। ॥ १०-७४-१७ ॥

सदस्याग्र्यार्हणार्हं वै विमृशन्तः सभासदः । नाध्यगच्छन्ननैकान्त्यात्सहदेवस्तदाब्रवीत् ॥ १०-७४-१८ ॥
The members of the assembly then pondered over who among them should be worshiped first, but since there were many personalities qualified for this honor, they were unable to decide. Finally Sahadeva spoke up. ॥ 10-74-18 ॥

तब सभा के सदस्यों ने इस बात पर विचार किया कि उनमें से किसकी पूजा पहले की जानी चाहिए, लेकिन चूँकि इस सम्मान के लिए कई व्यक्तित्व योग्य व्यक्ति थे, इसलिए वे निर्णय नहीं ले सके। अंततः सहदेव बोल उठे। ॥ १०-७४-१८ ॥

अर्हति ह्यच्युतः श्रैष्ठ्यं भगवान् सात्वताम्पतिः । एष वै देवताः सर्वा देशकालधनादयः ॥ १०-७४-१९ ॥
[Sahadeva said:] Certainly it is Acyuta, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and chief of the Yādavas, who deserves the highest position. In truth, He Himself comprises all the demigods worshiped in sacrifice, along with such aspects of the worship as the sacred place, the time and the paraphernalia. ॥ 10-74-19 ॥

[सहदेव ने कहा:] निश्चित रूप से यह अच्युत, भगवान के सर्वोच्च व्यक्तित्व और यादवों के प्रमुख हैं, जो सर्वोच्च पद के पात्र हैं। सच तो यह है कि, वह स्वयं यज्ञ में पूजे जाने वाले सभी देवताओं के साथ-साथ पूजा के पवित्र स्थान, समय और सामग्री जैसे पहलुओं को भी शामिल करता है। ॥ १०-७४-१९ ॥

यदात्मकमिदं विश्वं क्रतवश्च यदात्मकाः । अग्निराहुतयो मन्त्राः साङ्ख्यं योगश्च यत्परः ॥ १०-७४-२० ॥
This entire universe is founded upon Him, as are the great sacrificial performances, with their sacred fires, oblations and mantras. Sāṅkhya and yoga both aim toward Him, the one without a second. ॥ 10-74-20 ॥

यह संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड उसी पर आधारित है, जैसे महान यज्ञ प्रदर्शन, उनकी पवित्र अग्नि, आहुतियाँ और मंत्रों के साथ। सांख्य और योग दोनों का लक्ष्य उसी की ओर है, जो बिना किसी क्षण के है। ॥ १०-७४-२० ॥
