दूत उवाच इति मागधसंरुद्धा भवद्दर्शनकङ्क्षिणः । प्रपन्नाः पादमूलं ते दीनानां शं विधीयताम् ॥ १०-७०-३१ ॥
The messenger continued: This is the message of the kings imprisoned by Jarāsandha, who all hanker for Your audience, having surrendered to Your feet. Please bestow good fortune on these poor souls. ॥ 10-70-31 ॥

दूत ने आगे कहा: यह जरासंध द्वारा कैद किए गए राजाओं का संदेश है, जो आपके चरणों में समर्पित होकर आपके दर्शन के लिए लालायित हैं। कृपया इन गरीब आत्माओं को सौभाग्य प्रदान करें। ॥ १०-७०-३१ ॥

श्रीशुक उवाच राजदूते ब्रुवत्येवं देवर्षि: परमद्युति: । बिभ्रत्पिङ्गजटाभारं प्रादुरासीद् यथा रवि: ॥ १०-७०-३२ ॥
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: When the kings’ messenger had thus spoken, the sage of the demigods, Nārada, suddenly appeared. Bearing a mass of golden matted locks on his head, the supremely effulgent sage entered like the brilliant sun. ॥ 10-70-32 ॥

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा: जब राजाओं के दूत ने इस प्रकार कहा, तो देवताओं के ऋषि, नारद, अचानक प्रकट हुए। अपने सिर पर सुनहरी जटाओं का समूह धारण किये हुए, परम तेजस्वी ऋषि ने तेजस्वी सूर्य के समान प्रवेश किया। ॥ १०-७०-३२ ॥

तं दृष्ट्वा भगवान् कृष्णः सर्वलोकेश्वरेश्वरः । ववन्द उत्थितः शीर्ष्णा ससभ्यः सानुगो मुदा ॥ १०-७०-३३ ॥
Lord Kṛṣṇa is the worshipable master of even planetary rulers like Lord Brahmā and Lord Śiva, yet as soon as He saw that Nārada Muni had arrived, He joyfully stood up along with His ministers and secretaries to receive the great sage and offer His respectful obeisances by bowing His head. ॥ 10-70-33 ॥

भगवान कृष्ण भगवान ब्रह्मा और भगवान शिव जैसे ग्रहों के शासकों के भी पूजनीय गुरु हैं, फिर भी जैसे ही उन्होंने देखा कि नारद मुनि आ गए हैं, वे खुशी से अपने मंत्रियों और सचिवों के साथ महान ऋषि का स्वागत करने के लिए खड़े हो गए और उन्हें आदरपूर्वक प्रणाम किया, सिर झुकाकर। ॥ १०-७०-३३ ॥

After Nārada had accepted the seat offered to him, Lord Kṛṣṇa honored the sage according to scriptural injunctions and, gratifying him with His reverence, spoke the following truthful and pleasing words. ॥ 10-70-34 ॥
