न हि तेऽविदितं किञ्चिल्लोकेष्वीश्वरकर्तृषु । अथ पृच्छामहे युष्मान् पाण्डवानां चिकीर्षितम् ।। १०-७०-३६ ।।

There is nothing unknown to you within God’s creation. Therefore please tell Us what the Pāṇḍavas intend to do. ।। 10-70-36 ।।

english translation

ईश्वर की रचना में आपके लिए कुछ भी अज्ञात नहीं है। इसलिए कृपया हमें बताएं कि पांडव क्या करने का इरादा रखते हैं। ।। १०-७०-३६ ।।

श्रीनारद उवाच दृष्टा माया ते बहुशो दुरत्यया माया विभो विश्वसृजश्च मायिनः । भूतेषु भूमंश्चरतः स्वशक्तिभिर्वह्नेरिवच्छन्नरुचो न मेऽद्भुतम् ।। १०-७०-३७ ।।

Śrī Nārada said: I have seen many times the insurmountable power of Your Māyā, O almighty one, by which You bewilder even the creator of the universe, Brahmā. O all-encompassing Lord, it does not surprise me that You disguise Yourself by Your own energies while moving among the created beings, as a fire covers its own light with smoke. ।। 10-70-37 ।।

english translation

श्री नारद ने कहा: हे सर्वशक्तिमान, मैंने आपकी माया की अदम्य शक्ति को कई बार देखा है, जिसके द्वारा आप ब्रह्मांड के निर्माता ब्रह्मा को भी भ्रमित कर देते हैं। हे सर्वव्यापी भगवान, मुझे आश्चर्य नहीं है कि आप सृजित प्राणियों के बीच घूमते समय अपनी ऊर्जा से खुद को छिपाते हैं, जैसे आग अपनी रोशनी को धुएं से ढक लेती है। ।। १०-७०-३७ ।।

तवेहितं कोऽर्हति साधु वेदितुं स्वमाययेदं सृजतो नियच्छतः । यद्विद्यमानात्मतयावभासते तस्मै नमस्ते स्वविलक्षणात्मने ।। १०-७०-३८ ।।

Who can properly understand Your purpose? With Your material energy You expand and also withdraw this creation, which thus appears to have substantial existence. Obeisances to You, whose transcendental position is inconceivable. ।। 10-70-38 ।।

english translation

आपके उद्देश्य को कौन ठीक से समझ सकता है? अपनी भौतिक ऊर्जा से आप इस सृष्टि का विस्तार भी करते हैं और उसका विस्तार भी करते हैं, जो इस प्रकार पर्याप्त अस्तित्व में प्रतीत होती है। आपको नमस्कार है, जिनकी दिव्य स्थिति अकल्पनीय है। ।। १०-७०-३८ ।।

जीवस्य यः संसरतो विमोक्षणं न जानतोऽनर्थवहाच्छरीरतः । लीलावतारैः स्वयशःप्रदीपकं प्राज्वालयत्त्वा तमहं प्रपद्ये ।। १०-७०-३९ ।।

The living being caught in the cycle of birth and death does not know how he can be delivered from the material body, which brings him so much trouble. But You, the Supreme Lord, descend to this world in various personal forms, and by performing Your pastimes You illumine the soul’s path with the blazing torch of Your fame. Therefore I surrender unto You. ।। 10-70-39 ।।

english translation

जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र में फंसा जीव यह नहीं जानता कि उसे भौतिक शरीर से कैसे मुक्ति मिल सकती है, जिससे उसे इतनी परेशानी होती है। लेकिन आप, परम भगवान, विभिन्न व्यक्तिगत रूपों में इस दुनिया में अवतरित होते हैं, और अपनी लीलाएँ करके अपनी प्रसिद्धि की धधकती मशाल से आत्मा के मार्ग को रोशन करते हैं। इसलिए मैं आपके प्रति समर्पण करता हूं। ।। १०-७०-३९ ।।

अथाप्याश्रावये ब्रह्म नरलोकविडम्बनम् । राज्ञः पैतृष्वसेयस्य भक्तस्य च चिकीर्षितम् ।। १०-७०-४० ।।

Nonetheless, O Supreme Truth playing the part of a human being, I shall tell You what Your devotee Yudhiṣṭhira Mahārāja, the son of Your father’s sister, intends to do. ।। 10-70-40 ।।

english translation

फिर भी, हे सर्वोच्च सत्य, एक इंसान की भूमिका निभाते हुए, मैं आपको बताऊंगा कि आपके पिता की बहन के पुत्र, आपके भक्त युधिष्ठिर महाराज क्या करना चाहते हैं। ।। १०-७०-४० ।।
