विभक्तरथ्यापथचत्वरापणैः शालासभाभी रुचिरां सुरालयैः । संसिक्तमार्गाङ्गणवीथिदेहलीं पतत्पताकाध्वजवारितातपाम् ॥ १०-६९-६ ॥
Traffic moved along a well-laid-out system of boulevards, roads, intersections and marketplaces, and many assembly houses and temples of demigods graced the charming city. The roads, courtyards, commercial streets and residential patios were all sprinkled with water and shaded from the sun’s heat by banners waving from flagpoles. ॥ 10-69-6 ॥

यातायात एक अच्छी तरह से तैयार किए गए बुलेवार्ड, सड़कें, चौराहे और बाजारों के प्रणाली पर बढ़ रहा था, और कई सभा घरों और देवताओं के मंदिरों ने इस प्रेमपूर्ण शहर को सजाया था। सड़कें, आंगन, वाणिज्यिक सड़कें और आवासीय पेटियों को सभी पानी से छींके गए थे और ध्वजस्तंभों से झूल रहे पताकों से सूरज की गर्मी से छाया देने के लिए थे। ॥ १०-६९-६ ॥

In the city of Dvārakā was a beautiful private quarter worshiped by the planetary rulers. This district, where the demigod Viśvakarmā had shown all his divine skill, was the residential area of Lord Hari, ॥ 10-69-7 ॥

द्वारका शहर में एक सुंदर निजी क्वार्टर था जिसकी पूजा ग्रह शासक करते थे। यह जिला, जहां देवता विश्वकर्मा ने अपनी सारी दिव्य कुशलता दिखाई थी, भगवान हरि का निवास क्षेत्र था, ॥ १०-६९-७ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र षोडशभिः सद्मसहस्रैः समलङ्कृतम् । विवेशैकतमं शौरेः पत्नीनां भवनं महत् ॥ १०-६९-८ ॥
Thus it was gorgeously decorated by the sixteen thousand palaces of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s queens. Nārada Muni entered one of these immense palaces. ॥ 10-69-8 ॥

इस प्रकार इसे भगवान कृष्ण की रानियों के सोलह हजार महलों द्वारा भव्य रूप से सजाया गया था। नारद मुनि इन विशाल महलों में से एक में प्रवेश कर गये। ॥ १०-६९-८ ॥

Supporting the palace were coral pillars decoratively inlaid with vaidūrya gems. Sapphires bedecked the walls, and the floors glowed with perpetual brilliance. ॥ 10-69-9 ॥

महल को सहारा देने वाले मूंगा स्तंभ सजावटी रूप से वैदूर्य रत्नों से जड़े हुए थे। दीवारें नीलमणि से सजी थीं, और फर्श निरंतर चमक से चमक रहे थे। ॥ १०-६९-९ ॥

In that palace Tvaṣṭā had arranged canopies with hanging strands of pearls; there were also seats and beds fashioned of ivory and precious jewels. In attendance were many well-dressed maidservants bearing lockets on their necks, ॥ 10-69-10 ॥

उस महल में त्वष्टा ने मोतियों की लटों से लटकती छतरियों की व्यवस्था की थी; वहाँ हाथीदांत और बहुमूल्य रत्नों से बनी कुर्सियाँ और बिस्तर भी थे। उपस्थिति में बहुत-सी सजी-धजी नौकरानियाँ गले में लॉकेट डाले हुए थीं, ॥ १०-६९-१० ॥
