गिरं समाधौ गगने समीरितां निशम्य वेधास्त्रिदशानुवाच ह । गां पौरुषीं मे शृणुतामराः पुनर्विधीयतामाशु तथैव मा चिरम् ॥ १०-१-२१ ॥
While in trance, Lord Brahmā heard the words of Lord Viṣṇu vibrating in the sky. Thus he told the demigods: O demigods, hear from me the order of Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu, the Supreme Person, and execute it attentively without delay. ॥ 10-1-21 ॥

ब्रह्माजी जब समाधि में थे, भगवान् विष्णु के शब्दों को आकाश में ध्वनित होते सुना। तब उन्होंने देवताओं से कहा, “अरे देवताओ! मुझसे परम पुरुष क्षीरोदकशायी विष्णु का आदेश सुनो और बिना देर लगाए उसे ध्यानपूर्वक पूरा करो।” ॥ १०-१-२१ ॥

पुरैव पुंसावधृतो धराज्वरो भवद्भिरंशैर्यदुषूपजन्यताम् । स यावदुर्व्या भरमीश्वरेश्वरः स्वकालशक्त्या क्षपयंश्चरेद्भुवि ॥ १०-१-२२ ॥
Lord Brahmā informed the demigods: Before we submitted our petition to the Lord, He was already aware of the distress on earth. Consequently, for as long as the Lord moves on earth to diminish its burden by His own potency in the form of time, all of you demigods should appear through plenary portions as sons and grandsons in the family of the Yadus. ॥ 10-1-22 ॥

भगवान् ब्रह्माजी ने देवताओं को बतलाया: हमारे द्वारा याचना करने के पूर्व ही भगवान् पृथ्वी के संकट से अवगत हो चुके थे। फलत: जब तक भगवान् अपनी काल शक्ति के द्वारा पृथ्वी का भार कम करने के लिए पृथ्वी पर गतिशील रहें तब तक तुम सभी देवताओं को यदुओं के परिवार में उनके पुत्रों तथा पौत्रों के अंश के रूप में अवतीर्ण होना होगा। ॥ १०-१-२२ ॥

वसुदेवगृहे साक्षाद्भगवान् पुरुषः परः । जनिष्यते तत्प्रियार्थं सम्भवन्तु सुरस्त्रियः ॥ १०-१-२३ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who has full potency, will personally appear as the son of Vasudeva. Therefore all the wives of the demigods should also appear in order to satisfy Him. ॥ 10-1-23 ॥

सर्वशक्तिमान भगवान् कृष्ण वसुदेव के पुत्र रूप में स्वयं प्रकट होंगे। अत: देवताओं की सारी स्त्रियों को भी उन्हें प्रसन्न करने के लिए प्रकट होना चाहिए। ॥ १०-१-२३ ॥

वासुदेवकलानन्तः सहस्रवदनः स्वराट् । अग्रतो भविता देवो हरेः प्रियचिकीर्षया ॥ १०-१-२४ ॥
The foremost manifestation of Kṛṣṇa is Saṅkarṣaṇa, who is known as Ananta. He is the origin of all incarnations within this material world. Previous to the appearance of Lord Kṛṣṇa, this original Saṅkarṣaṇa will appear as Baladeva, just to please the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa in His transcendental pastimes. ॥ 10-1-24 ॥

कृष्ण का सबसे अग्रणी स्वरूप संकर्षण है, जो अनन्त कहलाता है। वह इस भौतिक जगत में सारे अवतारों का उद्गम है। भगवान् कृष्ण के प्राकटय के पूर्व यह आदि संकर्षण कृष्ण को उनकी दिव्य लीलाओं में प्रसन्न करने के लिए बलदेव के रूप में प्रकट होगा। ॥ १०-१-२४ ॥

विष्णोर्माया भगवती यया सम्मोहितं जगत् । आदिष्टा प्रभुणांशेन कार्यार्थे सम्भविष्यति ॥ १०-१-२५ ॥
The potency of the Lord, known as viṣṇu-māyā, who is as good as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, will also appear with Lord Kṛṣṇa. This potency, acting in different capacities, captivates all the worlds, both material and spiritual. At the request of her master, she will appear with her different potencies in order to execute the work of the Lord. ॥ 10-1-25 ॥

विष्णु माया कहलाने वाली भगवान् की शक्ति जो भगवान् के ही समान है, भगवान् कृष्ण के साथ-साथ ही प्रकट होगी। यह शक्ति विभिन्न पदों पर कार्य करती हुई भौतिक तथा आध्यात्मिक सभी जगतों को मोहने वाली है। वह अपने स्वामी के आग्रह पर भगवान् का कार्य सम्पन्न करने के लिए अपनी विविध शक्तियों सहित प्रकट होगी। ॥ १०-१-२५ ॥
