They do not know that the purpose of the Vedas is to understand one’s own home, where the Supreme Personality of Godhead lives. You should never take these to be the ultimate goal of life. ॥ 4-29-47 ॥

At such a time, the awakened devotee gives up all material activities and ritualistic performances mentioned in the Vedas. ॥ 4-29-46 ॥

The only remedy is to surrender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead through His representative. ॥ 4-29-36 ॥
