यदा यमनुगृह्णाति भगवानात्मभावितः । स जहाति मतिं लोके वेदे च परिनिष्ठिताम् ।। ४-२९-४६ ।।

sanskrit

When a person is fully engaged in devotional service, he is favored by the Lord, who bestows His causeless mercy. At such a time, the awakened devotee gives up all material activities and ritualistic performances mentioned in the Vedas. ।। 4-29-46 ।।

english translation

जब मनुष्य पूर्णत: भक्ति में लगा रहता है, तो अहैतुकी कृपा प्रदर्शित करने वाले भगवान् उस पर कृपा करते हैं। ऐसे अवसर पर जाग्रत भक्त सारे भौतिक कार्यों तथा वेदों में वर्णित अनुष्ठानों को त्याग देता है। ।। ४-२९-४६ ।।
