अध्व॑र्यवोऽरु॒णं दु॒ग्धमं॒शुं जु॒होत॑न वृष॒भाय॑ क्षिती॒नाम् । गौ॒राद्वेदी॑याँ अव॒पान॒मिन्द्रो॑ वि॒श्वाहेद्या॑ति सु॒तसो॑ममि॒च्छन् ॥ अध्वर्यवोऽरुणं दुग्धमंशुं जुहोतन वृषभाय क्षितीनाम् । गौराद्वेदीयाँ अवपानमिन्द्रो विश्वाहेद्याति सुतसोममिच्छन् ॥
Offer, priests, the shining effused Soma o him who is eminent (among) men; knowing better than theGaura where his distant drinking-plural ce (is to be found). Indra comes daily seeking for the offerer of the libation.
english translation
यद्द॑धि॒षे प्र॒दिवि॒ चार्वन्नं॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे पी॒तिमिद॑स्य वक्षि । उ॒त हृ॒दोत मन॑सा जुषा॒ण उ॒शन्नि॑न्द्र॒ प्रस्थि॑तान्पाहि॒ सोमा॑न् ॥ यद्दधिषे प्रदिवि चार्वन्नं दिवेदिवे पीतिमिदस्य वक्षि । उत हृदोत मनसा जुषाण उशन्निन्द्र प्रस्थितान्पाहि सोमान् ॥
The pleasant Soma that you, Indra, have quaffed in former days, you still desire to drink of daily;gratified in heart and mind, and wishing (our good), drink, Indra the Soma, that is placed before (you).
english translation
ज॒ज्ञा॒नः सोमं॒ सह॑से पपाथ॒ प्र ते॑ मा॒ता म॑हि॒मान॑मुवाच । एन्द्र॑ पप्राथो॒र्व१॒॑न्तरि॑क्षं यु॒धा दे॒वेभ्यो॒ वरि॑वश्चकर्थ ॥ जज्ञानः सोमं सहसे पपाथ प्र ते माता महिमानमुवाच । एन्द्र पप्राथोर्वन्तरिक्षं युधा देवेभ्यो वरिवश्चकर्थ ॥
As soon as born, Indra you have drunk the Soma for your invigoration; your mother (Aditi) proclaimedyour greatness; hence you have filled the vast firmament. Indra, you have gained in battle treasure for the gods.

यद्यो॒धया॑ मह॒तो मन्य॑माना॒न्त्साक्षा॑म॒ तान्बा॒हुभि॒: शाश॑दानान् । यद्वा॒ नृभि॒र्वृत॑ इन्द्राभि॒युध्या॒स्तं त्वया॒जिं सौ॑श्रव॒सं ज॑येम ॥ यद्योधया महतो मन्यमानान्त्साक्षाम तान्बाहुभिः शाशदानान् । यद्वा नृभिर्वृत इन्द्राभियुध्यास्तं त्वयाजिं सौश्रवसं जयेम ॥
When you enable us to encounter mighty and arrogant (enemies), we are competent to overcome themalignant by our (unarmed) hands alone; and when you, Indra, surrounded by your attendants (Maruts), fightagainst them, we shall triumph, aided by you (in) that glorious war.

प्रेन्द्र॑स्य वोचं प्रथ॒मा कृ॒तानि॒ प्र नूत॑ना म॒घवा॒ या च॒कार॑ । य॒देददे॑वी॒रस॑हिष्ट मा॒या अथा॑भव॒त्केव॑ल॒: सोमो॑ अस्य ॥ प्रेन्द्रस्य वोचं प्रथमा कृतानि प्र नूतना मघवा या चकार । यदेददेवीरसहिष्ट माया अथाभवत्केवलः सोमो अस्य ॥
I proclaim the ancient exploits of Indra the recent deeds that Maghavan has achieved; when indeed hehad overcome the undivine illusion, thenceforth the Soma became his exclusive.
