अ॒स्माक॑मिन्द्रावरुणा॒ भरे॑भरे पुरोयो॒धा भ॑वतं कृष्ट्योजसा । यद्वां॒ हव॑न्त उ॒भये॒ अध॑ स्पृ॒धि नर॑स्तो॒कस्य॒ तन॑यस्य सा॒तिषु॑ ॥ अस्माकमिन्द्रावरुणा भरेभरे पुरोयोधा भवतं कृष्ट्योजसा । यद्वां हवन्त उभये अध स्पृधि नरस्तोकस्य तनयस्य सातिषु ॥
Indra and Varuṇa, of irresistible strength, be our preceders in every encounter, for both (past andpresent) worshippers invoke you to defend them iin war, or for the acquisition of sons and grandsons.
