मैथिलीं हन्तुमारब्ध: स्त्रीभिर्हाहाकृतं तदा । स्त्रीणां मध्यात्समुत्पत्य तस्य भार्या दुरात्मनः ॥ ५-५८-७५

- to strike at Sita and even the shedemon there raised their voice saying, ' alas, alas '. Springing up from the midst of those women, the wife of that evil-minded Ravana - ॥ 5-58-75॥

english translation

maithilIM hantumArabdha: strIbhirhAhAkRtaM tadA । strINAM madhyAtsamutpatya tasya bhAryA durAtmanaH ॥ 5-58-75
