श्वसनेन च संयोगादतिवेगो महाबलः । कालाग्निरिव जज्वाल प्रावर्धत हुताशनः ॥ ५-५४-२१
The windgod's association made the fire spread at great speed. It appeared like fire at the time of dissolution. ॥ 5-54-21॥

zvasanena ca saMyogAdativego mahAbalaH । kAlAgniriva jajvAla prAvardhata hutAzanaH ॥ 5-54-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रदीप्तमग्निं पवनस्तेषु वेश्मस्वचारयत् । अभूच्छ्वसनसंयोगादतिवेगो हुताशनः ॥ ५-५४-२२
Combined with the wind the fire began to spread, burning the houses with great speed. ॥ 5-54-22॥

pradIptamagniM pavanasteSu vezmasvacArayat । abhUcchvasanasaMyogAdativego hutAzanaH ॥ 5-54-22

The palatial structures with windows of golden meshwork, embedded with pearls and gems and other precious stones tumbled. ॥ 5-54-23॥

tAni kAJcanajAlAni muktAmaNimayAni ca । bhavanAnyavazIryanta ratnavanti mahAnti ca ॥ 5-54-23

Then there arose a mighty uproar among the titans, who fled in all directions unable to preserve their dwellings, bereft of their treasure, crying out : . - ॥ 5-54-24॥

saMjajJe tumulazzabdo rAkSasAnAM pradhAvatAm । svagRhasya paritrANe bhagnotsAhorjitazriyAm ॥ 5-54-24
