निबद्धः कृतवान्वीरस्तत्कालसदृशीं मतिम् । कामं खलु न मे शक्ता निबद्धस्यापि राक्षसाः ॥ ५-५३-११

छित्त्वा पाशान् समुत्पत्य हन्यामहमिमान्पुनः । यदि भर्तुर्हितार्थाय चरन्तं भर्तृशासनात् ॥ ५-५३-१२

'Indeed I will leap (into the air) once again and sever my bonds and kill them. When I am moving here for the welfare of my master, ordered by their lord . - ॥ 5-53-12॥

english translation

chittvA pAzAn samutpatya hanyAmahamimAnpunaH । yadi bharturhitArthAya carantaM bhartRzAsanAt ॥ 5-53-12

बध्नन्त्येते दुरात्मनो न तु मे निष्कृतिः कृता । सर्वेषामेव पर्याप्तो राक्षसानामहं युधि ॥ ५-५३-१३

- these evil-minded demons bind me, I will not let them escape. I am strong enough to destroy all the demons in a battle. ॥ 5-53-13॥

किंतु रामस्य प्रीत्यर्थं विषहिष्येऽहमीदृशम् । लङ्का चारयितव्या वै पुनरेव भवेदिति ॥ ५-५३-१४

'I am enduring this humiliation in order to make Rama happy. In this way I will get a chance to see Lanka once again. ॥ 5-53-14॥

रात्रौ न हि सुदृष्टा मे दुर्गकर्मविधानतः । अवश्यमेव द्रष्टव्या मया लङ्का निशाक्षये ॥ ५-५३-१५

'Indeed I saw Lanka at night for which I could not acquire proper knowledge about the fortification of the city. Surely it should be seen by me now after the night has passed. ॥ 5-53-15॥
