स च देवर्षिभिर्दिष्टः पिता मम महाकपिः | तीर्थे नदीपतेः पुण्ये शम्बसादनमुद्धरत् || ५-३५-८१
'He (Kesari) is said to be my father by the divine sages. He retrieved a piece of land in a holy spot of that sea shore and killed Sambasadana, a demon who was oppressing righteous people. [5-35-81]
'In order to inspire confidence in you about me I have narrated the virtues of your husband. O sinless queen Rama will take you from here very soon.' [5-35-83]
एवं विश्वासिता सीता हेतुभिश्शोककर्शिता | उपपन्नैरभिज्ञानैर्दूतं तमवगच्छति || ५-३५-८४
The grief stricken Sita trusted him by his logical presentation of reasons as well as identifications. She believed that he was a messenger (of Rama). [5-35-84]
