रक्षोभिस्त्रासिता पूर्वं भूयस्त्रासं गमिष्यति । ततो जातपरित्रासा शब्दं कुर्यान्मनस्विनी ॥ ५-३०-२१
- she will be even more terrified since Janaki has already been frightened by the demons. By seeing me in this form, sensitive Sita will scream loudly . - ॥ 5-30-21॥

rakSobhistrAsitA pUrvaM bhUyastrAsaM gamiSyati । tato jAtaparitrAsA zabdaM kuryAnmanasvinI ॥ 5-30-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजानमाना विशालाक्षी रावणं कामरूपिणम् । सीतया च कृते शब्दे सहसा राक्षसीगणा: । नानाप्रहरणो घोर: समेयादन्तकोपम: ॥ ५-३०-२२
- (large-eyed Sita) thinking that I am Ravana who can assume any form at his free will. If Sita screams, the horde of terrific ogresses will at once gather, armed with dreadful weapons like Yama, the god of death. ॥ 5-30-22॥

jAnamAnA vizAlAkSI rAvaNaM kAmarUpiNam । sItayA ca kRte zabde sahasA rAkSasIgaNA: । nAnApraharaNo ghora: sameyAdantakopama: ॥ 5-30-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो मां सम्परिक्षिप्य सर्वतो विकृताननाः । वधे च ग्रहणे चैव कुर्युर्यत्नं यथाबलम् ॥ ५-३०-२३
'Then all these hideous ogresses will swarm round me and make efforts to capture me with all their strength and kill me. ॥ 5-30-23॥

tato mAM samparikSipya sarvato vikRtAnanAH । vadhe ca grahaNe caiva kuryuryatnaM yathAbalam ॥ 5-30-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगृह्य शाखाः प्रशाखाश्च स्कन्धांश्चोत्तमशाखिनाम् । दृष्ट्वा विपरिधावन्तं भवेयुर्भयशङ्किताः ॥ ५-३०-२४
'Seeing me holding big and small branches of large trees and leaping from one place to the other, the ogresses will get scared. ॥ 5-30-24॥

gRhya zAkhAH prazAkhAzca skandhAMzcottamazAkhinAm । dRSTvA viparidhAvantaM bhaveyurbhayazaGkitAH ॥ 5-30-24
