पतितोऽ वाक्चिरा रा भूमौ गर्दभाद्भयमोहितः । सहसोत्थाय संभ्रान्तो भयार्तो मदविह्वलः ॥ ५-२७-२६
He was falling with his head bent down and deluded by the fear of the donkey. (I saw Ravana), getting up quickly, in a bewildered state, terrorstricken, totally confused in intoxication. ॥ 5-27-26॥

patito' vAkcirA rA bhUmau gardabhAdbhayamohitaH । sahasotthAya saMbhrAnto bhayArto madavihvalaH ॥ 5-27-26

unmatta iva digvAsA durvAkyaM pralapanbahu । durgandhaM dussahaM ghoraM timiraM narakopamam ॥ 5-27-27
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमलपङ्कं प्रविश्याशु मग्नस्तत्र स रावणः । कण्ठे बद्ध्वा दशग्रीवं प्रमदा रक्तवासिनी ॥ ५-२७-२८

hk transliteration by Sanscriptकाली कर्दमलिप्ताङ्गी दिशं याम्यां प्रकर्षति । एवं तत्र मया दृष्टः कुम्भकर्णो निशाचरः ॥ ५-२७-२९
