अथवा मृगशाबाक्षी वनस्यास्य विचक्षणा । वनमेष्यति साऽर्येह रामचिन्तानुकर्शिता ॥ ५-१४-४६
'Or may be that doe-eyed noble lady brooding over Rama will come to this garden she is familiar with. ॥ 5-14-46॥

athavA mRgazAbAkSI vanasyAsya vicakSaNA । vanameSyati sA'ryeha rAmacintAnukarzitA ॥ 5-14-46

'That lovelyeyed queen tormented with grief over separation from Rama will be coming here to stay as she always loves strolling in the forest. ॥ 5-14-47॥

rAmazokAbhisantaptA sA devI vAmalocanA । vanavAse ratA nityameSyate vanacAriNI ॥ 5-14-47
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवनेचराणां सततं नूनं स्पृहयते पुरा । रामस्य दयिता भार्या जनकस्यसुता सती ॥ ५-१४-४८
'The daughter of Janaka, the chaste wife of Rama, used to for the company of those creatures wandering in the forest. ॥ 5-14-48॥

vanecarANAM satataM nUnaM spRhayate purA । rAmasya dayitA bhAryA janakasyasutA satI ॥ 5-14-48
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसन्ध्याकालमनाः श्यामा ध्रुवमेष्यति जानकी । नदीं चेमां शुभजलां सन्ध्यार्थे वरवर्णिनी ॥ ५-१४-४९
'Surely that lady of lovely complexion, the beautiful Janaki will come to this river flowing with sacred waters for performing the evening rituals. ॥ 5-14-49॥

sandhyAkAlamanAH zyAmA dhruvameSyati jAnakI । nadIM cemAM zubhajalAM sandhyArthe varavarNinI ॥ 5-14-49
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्याश्चाप्यनुरूपेयमशोकवनिका शुभा । शुभा या पार्थिवेन्द्रस्य पत्नी रामस्य सम्मता ॥ ५-१४-५०
'To the auspicious Sita,the beloved of Rama, the lord of the world, this Ashoka grove is a befitting place. ॥ 5-14-50॥
