योजनानां शतस्यान्ते वनराजिं ददर्श सः । ददर्श च पतन्नेव विविधद्रुमभूषितम् ॥ ५-१-२०१
- he (Hanuman) saw a series of trees at the end of his journey of hundred yojanas. Even while in air, he saw adorned with many trees . - ॥ 5-1-201॥

yojanAnAM zatasyAnte vanarAjiM dadarza saH । dadarza ca patanneva vividhadrumabhUSitam ॥ 5-1-201
hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्वीपं शाखामृगश्रेष्ठो मलयोपवनानि च । सागरं सागरानूपं सागरानूपजान् द्रुमान् ॥ ५-१-२०२

dvIpaM zAkhAmRgazreSTho malayopavanAni ca । sAgaraM sAgarAnUpaM sAgarAnUpajAn drumAn ॥ 5-1-202
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसागरस्य च पत्नीनां मुख्यान्यपि विलोकयन् । स महामेघसङ्काशं समीक्ष्यात्मानमात्मवान् ॥ ५-१-२०३

sAgarasya ca patnInAM mukhyAnyapi vilokayan । sa mahAmeghasaGkAzaM samIkSyAtmAnamAtmavAn ॥ 5-1-203
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिरुन्धन्तमिवाकाशं चकार मतिमान् मतिम् । कायवृद्धिं प्रवेगं च मम दृष्ट्वैव राक्षसाः ॥ ५-१-२०४
- as though obstructing the sky, the wise monkey thought as follows 'Seeing the extraordinary size of my body as well as my speed, the demons . - ॥ 5-1-204॥

nirundhantamivAkAzaM cakAra matimAn matim । kAyavRddhiM pravegaM ca mama dRSTvaiva rAkSasAH ॥ 5-1-204
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमयि कौतूहलं कुर्यरिति मेने महाकपिः । ततः शरीरं संक्षिप्य तन्महीधरसन्निभम् ॥ ५-१-२०५
