In obedience to the command of Indra among men (king Janaka), the messengers rode away on swift horses to bring king Kusadhwaja, a tiger among men just like fetching Vishnu by the orders of Indra. [1-70-6]
सांकाश्यां ते समागम्य ददृशुश्च कुशध्वजम् | न्यवेदयन् यथावृत्तं जनकस्य च चिन्तितम् || १-७०-७
The messengers reached Saankaasya, met king Kushadhvajaand related to him what had happened ( about Rama's breaking of Shiva's bow ). They informed him the intention of (king) Janaka ( regarding marriages of four daughters ). [1-70-7]
King Kusadhwaja having heard the events from the loyal, mighty messengers, set out for Mithila in compliance with the request of the king (Janaka). [1-70-8]
( On arriving Mithila )There he met the high souled Janaka devoted to righteousness. He paid his regards to Sage Shatananda and the virtuous king ( Janka ). [1-70-9]
Then he ( king Kushadhvaja ) occupied an exalted seat befitting a king. Both the brothers ( king Janaka and king Kushadhvaja ) endowed with great splendour seated beside each other,..... - [1-70-10
