प्रत्यञ्जनं स्रोतसि यत्समुत्थितं क्रमाद्रसक्षीरघृतेषु भावितम् । स्थितं दशाहत्रयमेतदञ्जनं कृष्णोरगास्ये कुशसम्प्रवेष्टिते ॥३६॥
The Anjana that is prepared by sequentially processing in liquids such as juice, milk, and clarified butter, and is kept for a period of ten days, is beneficial when used. This Anjana, which is wrapped in kusa grass and placed in the region of the eyes, is particularly effective for conditions associated with blackness, such as snake poison.

The Anjana, composed of Malati, Koraka, and Saindhava, is recommended for use in cases of night blindness (Timira) or reddish eye conditions. When it is properly prepared and stored for three days with milk, it is said to be particularly effective. This remedy is praised by experts in the scriptures for its ability to cure these ailments.

The remedy made from clarified butter (Havya) and milk is considered beneficial for Paittika (bile-related) conditions. It is prepared and used with sweet medicines and is applied in the nostrils. This treatment is recommended for pacifying the condition, and when used with a proper bandage, it is known as a 'Puta'.

Similarly, a collyrium made from the sap of the Kanaka tree (possibly a reference to a particular type of tree) is also finely powdered and used for the same purpose by knowledgeable practitioners.

Similarly, the collyrium composed of a mixture of the powdered parts of the Samesha (another medicinal plant), when prepared properly, effectively removes any impurities and clears the vision.
