तप्यन्ते लोकतापेन साधवः प्रायशो जनाः । परमाराधनं तद्धि पुरुषस्याखिलात्मनः ।। ८-७-४४ ॥
It is said that great personalities almost always accept voluntary suffering because of the suffering of people in general. This is considered the highest method of worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is present in everyone’s heart. ।। 8-7-44 ॥
english translation
कहा जाता है कि सामान्य लोगों के कष्टों के कारण महापुरुष सदैव स्वेच्छा से कष्ट भोगना स्वीकार करते हैं। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के हृदय में स्थित भगवान् के पूजने की यह सर्वोच्च विधि मानी जाती है। ।। ८-७-४४ ॥
