निशम्य कर्म तच्छम्भोर्देवदेवस्य मीढुषः । प्रजा दाक्षायणी ब्रह्मा वैकुण्ठश्च शशंसिरे ।। ८-७-४५ ॥
Upon hearing of this act, everyone, including Bhavānī [the daughter of Mahārāja Dakṣa], Lord Brahmā, Lord Viṣṇu, and the people in general, very highly praised this deed performed by Lord Śiva, who is worshiped by the demigods and who bestows benedictions upon the people. ।। 8-7-45 ॥

इस कार्य को सुनकर भवानी (दक्षकन्या), ब्रह्मा, विष्णु समेत सामान्य लोगों ने देवताओं द्वारा पूजित और लोगों को वरदान देने वाले शिवजी के इस कार्य की अत्यधिक प्रशंसा की। ।। ८-७-४५ ॥
