तं नर्मदायास्तट उत्तरे बलेः य ऋत्विजस्ते भृगुकच्छसंज्ञके । प्रवर्तयन्तो भृगवः क्रतूत्तमं व्यचक्षतारादुदितं यथा रविम् ।। ८-१८-२१ ।।

sanskrit

While engaged in performing the sacrifice in the field known as Bhṛgukaccha, on the northern bank of the Narmadā River, the brahminical priests, the descendants of Bhṛgu, saw Vāmanadeva to be like the sun rising nearby. ।। 8-18-21 ।।

english translation

नर्मदा नदी के उत्तरी तट पर भृगुकक्ष नामक क्षेत्र में यज्ञ सम्पन्न करते हुए भृगुवंशी ब्राह्मण पुरोहितों ने वामनदेव को ऐसे देखा मानो पास ही सूर्य उदय हो रहा हो। ।। ८-१८-२१ ।।

taM narmadAyAstaTa uttare baleH ya Rtvijaste bhRgukacchasaMjJake | pravartayanto bhRgavaH kratUttamaM vyacakSatArAduditaM yathA ravim || 8-18-21 ||
