Srimad Bhagavatam
पालयन्ति प्रजापाला यावदन्तं विभागशः । यज्ञभागभुजो देवा ये च तत्रान्विताश्च तैः ॥ ८-१४-६ ॥
To enjoy the results of sacrifices ॥ yajñas॥, the rulers of the world, namely the sons and grandsons of Manu, discharge the orders of the Supreme Personality of Godhead until the end of Manu’s reign. The demigods also share the results of these sacrifices. ॥ 8-14-6 ॥
english translation
यज्ञों के फलों का भोग करने के लिए विश्व के शासक, अर्थात् मनु के पुत्र तथा पौत्र, मनु के शासन काल के अन्त तक भगवान् के आदेशों का पालन करते हैं। देवता भी इन यज्ञों के फलों में भाग प्राप्त करते हैं। ॥ ८-१४-६ ॥
