तान्येव तेऽभिरूपाणि रूपाणि भगवंस्तव । यानि यानि च रोचन्ते स्वजनानामरूपिणः ।। ३-२४-३१ ।।

sanskrit

My dear Lord, although You have no material form, You have Your own innumerable forms. They truly are Your transcendental forms, which are pleasing to Your devotees. ।। 3-24-31 ।।

english translation

हे भगवन्, यद्यपि आपका कोई भौतिक रूप नहीं है, किन्तु आपके अपने ही अनन्त रूप हैं। वे सचमुच ही आपके दिव्य रूप हैं और आपके भक्तों को आनन्दित करनेवाले हैं। ।। ३-२४-३१ ।।

My dear Lord, Your lotus feet are the reservoir that always deserves to receive worshipful homage from all great sages eager to understand the Absolute Truth. You are full in opulence, renunciation, transcendental fame, knowledge, strength and beauty, and therefore I surrender myself unto Your lotus feet. ।। 3-24-32 ।।

हे भगवान्, आपके चरणकमल ऐसे कोष के समान हैं, जो परम सत्य को जानने के इच्छुक बड़े-बड़े ऋषियों-मुनियों का सदैव आदर प्राप्त करने वाला है। आप ऐश्वर्य, वैराग्य, दिव्य यश, ज्ञान, वीर्य और सौन्दर्य से ओत-प्रोत हैं अत: मैं आपके चरणकमलों की शरण में हूँ। ।। ३-२४-३२ ।।

I surrender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, descended in the form of Kapila, who is independently powerful and transcendental, who is the Supreme Person and the Lord of the sum total of matter and the element of time, who is the fully cognizant maintainer of all the universes under the three modes of material nature, and who absorbs the material manifestations after their dissolution. ।। 3-24-33 ।।

english translation

मैं कपिल के रूप में अवतरित होने वाले पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् की शरण लेता हूँ, जो स्वतन्त्र रूप से शक्तिमान तथा दिव्य हैं, जो परम पुरुष हैं तथा पदार्थ और काल को मिलाकर सबों के भगवान् हैं, जो त्रिगुणमय सभी ब्रह्माण्डों के पालनकर्ता हैं और प्रलय के पश्चात् भौतिक प्रपञ्चों को अपने में लीन कर लेते हैं। ।। ३-२४-३३ ।।

Today I have something to ask from You, who are the Lord of all living entities. Since I have now been liberated by You from my debts to my father, and since all my desires are fulfilled, I wish to accept the order of an itinerant mendicant. Renouncing this family life, I wish to wander about, free from lamentation, thinking always of You in my heart. ।। 3-24-34 ।।

समस्त जीवात्माओं के स्वामी मुझे आप से आज कुछ पूछना है। चूँकि आपने मुझे अब पितृ-ऋण से मुक्त कर दिया है और मेरे सभी मनोरथ पूरे हो चुके हैं, अत: मैं संन्यास-मार्ग ग्रहण करना चाहता हूँ। इस गृहस्थ जीवन को त्याग कर मैं शोकरहित होकर अपने हृदय में सदैव आपको धारण करते हुए सर्वत्र भ्रमण करना चाहता हूँ। ।। ३-२४-३४ ।।

The Personality of Godhead Kapila said: Whatever I speak, whether directly or in the scriptures, is authoritative in all respects for the people of the world. O Muni, because I told you before that I would become your son, I have descended to fulfill this truth. ।। 3-24-35 ।।

भगवान् कपिल ने कहा—मैं जो भी प्रत्यक्ष रूप से या शास्त्रों में कहता हूँ वह संसार के लोगों के लिए सभी प्रकार से प्रामाणिक है। हे मुने, चूँकि मैं तुमसे पहले ही कह चुका हूँ कि मैं तुम्हारा पुत्र बनूँगा, अत: उसी को सत्य करने हेतु मैंने अवतार लिया है। ।। ३-२४-३५ ।।
