श्रीभगवानुवाच मया प्रोक्तं हि लोकस्य प्रमाणं सत्यलौकिके । अथाजनि मया तुभ्यं यदवोचमृतं मुने ॥ ३-२४-३५ ॥
The Personality of Godhead Kapila said: Whatever I speak, whether directly or in the scriptures, is authoritative in all respects for the people of the world. O Muni, because I told you before that I would become your son, I have descended to fulfill this truth. ॥ 3-24-35 ॥

भगवान् कपिल ने कहा—मैं जो भी प्रत्यक्ष रूप से या शास्त्रों में कहता हूँ वह संसार के लोगों के लिए सभी प्रकार से प्रामाणिक है। हे मुने, चूँकि मैं तुमसे पहले ही कह चुका हूँ कि मैं तुम्हारा पुत्र बनूँगा, अत: उसी को सत्य करने हेतु मैंने अवतार लिया है। ॥ ३-२४-३५ ॥
