किं स्विद्ब्रह्मंस्त्वन्निवासे इह नास्ति धनुर्धरः । राजन्यबन्धुरेते वै ब्राह्मणाः सत्र आसते ॥ १०-८९-२८ ॥
Isn’t there some lowly member of the royal order here who can at least stand before your house with a bow in his hand? These kṣatriyas are behaving as if they were brāhmaṇas idly engaged in fire sacrifices. ॥ 10-89-28 ॥

क्या यहाँ शाही व्यवस्था का कोई तुच्छ सदस्य नहीं है जो कम से कम हाथ में धनुष लेकर आपके घर के सामने खड़ा हो सके? ये क्षत्रिय ऐसे व्यवहार कर रहे हैं जैसे कि वे अग्नि यज्ञ में लगे हुए ब्राह्मण हों। ॥ १०-८९-२८ ॥
