सदिव मनस्त्रिवृत्त्वयि विभात्यसदामनुजात् सदभिमृशन्त्यशेषमिदमात्मतयाऽऽत्मविदः । न हि विकृतिं त्यजन्ति कनकस्य तदात्मतया स्वकृतमनुप्रविष्टमिदमात्मतयावसितम् ।। १०-८७-२६ ।।

The three modes of material nature comprise everything in this world — from the simplest phenomena to the complex human body. Although these phenomena appear real, they are only a false reflection of the spiritual reality, being a superimposition of the mind upon You. Still, those who know the Supreme Self consider the entire material creation to be real inasmuch as it is nondifferent from the Self. Just as things made of gold are indeed not to be rejected, since their substance is actual gold, so this world is undoubtedly nondifferent from the Lord who created it and then entered within it. ।। 10-87-26 ।।

भौतिक प्रकृति के तीन गुणों में इस दुनिया में सब कुछ शामिल है - सबसे सरल घटना से लेकर जटिल मानव शरीर तक। हालाँकि ये घटनाएँ वास्तविक प्रतीत होती हैं, वे केवल आध्यात्मिक वास्तविकता का एक गलत प्रतिबिंब हैं, जो आप पर मन का एक अधिरोपण है। फिर भी, जो लोग सर्वोच्च आत्मा को जानते हैं वे संपूर्ण भौतिक सृष्टि को वास्तविक मानते हैं क्योंकि यह आत्मा से भिन्न नहीं है। जिस प्रकार सोने से बनी वस्तुओं को वास्तव में अस्वीकार नहीं किया जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि उनका पदार्थ वास्तविक सोना है, उसी प्रकार यह दुनिया निस्संदेह भगवान से अलग नहीं है जिसने इसे बनाया और फिर इसमें प्रवेश किया। ।। १०-८७-२६ ।।
