त्वं त्वद्य मुक्तो द्वाभ्यां वै ऋषिपित्रोर्महामते । यज्ञैर्देवर्णमुन्मुच्य निरृणोऽशरणो भव ॥ १०-८४-४० ॥
But you, O magnanimous soul, are already free from two of your debts — those to the sages and the forefathers. Now absolve yourself of your debt to the demigods by executing Vedic sacrifices, and in this way free yourself completely of debt and renounce all material shelter. ॥ 10-84-40 ॥

लेकिन, हे उदार आत्मा, आप पहले से ही अपने दो ऋणों से मुक्त हैं - ऋषियों और पूर्वजों के। अब वैदिक यज्ञ करके अपने आप को देवताओं के प्रति अपने ऋण से मुक्त करें, और इस प्रकार अपने आप को ऋण से पूरी तरह मुक्त करें और सभी भौतिक आश्रयों का त्याग करें। ॥ १०-८४-४० ॥
