नाग्निर्न सूर्यो न च चन्द्रतारका न भूर्जलं खं श्वसनोऽथ वाङ्मनः । उपासिता भेदकृतो हरन्त्यघं विपश्चितो घ्नन्ति मुहूर्तसेवया ।। १०-८४-१२ ।।

sanskrit

Neither the demigods controlling fire, the sun, the moon and the stars nor those in charge of earth, water, ether, air, speech and mind actually remove the sins of their worshipers, who continue to see in terms of dualities. But wise sages destroy one’s sins when respectfully served for even a few moments. ।। 10-84-12 ।।

english translation

न तो अग्नि, सूर्य, चंद्रमा और सितारों को नियंत्रित करने वाले देवता और न ही पृथ्वी, जल, आकाश, वायु, वाणी और मन के प्रभारी वास्तव में अपने उपासकों के पापों को दूर करते हैं, जो द्वंद्व के संदर्भ में देखते रहते हैं। लेकिन बुद्धिमान संत कुछ क्षणों के लिए भी आदरपूर्वक सेवा करने पर व्यक्ति के पापों को नष्ट कर देते हैं। ।। १०-८४-१२ ।।
