यस्यात्मबुद्धिः कुणपे त्रिधातुके स्वधीः कलत्रादिषु भौम इज्यधीः । यत्तीर्थबुद्धिः सलिले न कर्हिचिज्जनेष्वभिज्ञेषु स एव गोखरः ।। १०-८४-१३ ।।

sanskrit

One who identifies his self as the inert body composed of mucus, bile and air, who assumes his wife and family are permanently his own, who thinks an earthen image or the land of his birth is worshipable, or who sees a place of pilgrimage as merely the water there, but who never identifies himself with, feels kinship with, worships or even visits those who are wise in spiritual truth — such a person is no better than a cow or an ass. ।। 10-84-13 ।।

english translation

जो स्वयं को बलगम, पित्त और वायु से बने जड़ शरीर के रूप में पहचानता है, जो अपनी पत्नी और परिवार को स्थायी रूप से अपना मानता है, जो मिट्टी की छवि या अपने जन्म की भूमि को पूजनीय मानता है, या जो तीर्थ स्थान को पूजनीय मानता है केवल वहां का पानी, लेकिन जो कभी भी आध्यात्मिक सत्य में बुद्धिमान लोगों के साथ अपनी पहचान नहीं बनाता है, उनके साथ रिश्तेदारी महसूस नहीं करता है, उनकी पूजा नहीं करता है या यहां तक ​​​​कि उनके पास भी नहीं जाता है - ऐसा व्यक्ति गाय या गधे से बेहतर नहीं है। ।। १०-८४-१३ ।।
