तस्मिन् निपतिते पापे सौभे च गदया हते । नेदुर्दुन्दुभयो राजन् दिवि देवगणेरिताः । सखीनामपचितिं कुर्वन् दन्तवक्त्रो रुषाभ्यगात् ॥ १०-७७-३७ ॥
With the sinful Śālva now dead and his Saubha airship destroyed, the heavens resounded with kettledrums played by groups of demigods. Then Dantavakra, wanting to avenge the death of his friends, furiously attacked the Lord. ॥ 10-77-37 ॥

पापी शाल्व के अब मर जाने और उसके सौभा हवाई जहाज के नष्ट हो जाने से, स्वर्ग देवताओं के समूहों द्वारा बजाए जाने वाले नगाड़ों से गूँज उठा। तब दन्तवक्र ने अपने मित्रों की मृत्यु का बदला लेने की इच्छा से क्रोधपूर्वक भगवान पर आक्रमण कर दिया। ॥ १०-७७-३७ ॥
