श्रीशुक उवाच स तूपस्पृश्य सलिलं दंशितो धृतकार्मुकः । नय मां द्युमतः पार्श्वं वीरस्येत्याह सारथिम् ॥ १०-७७-१ ॥
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: After refreshing Himself with water, putting on His armor and picking up His bow, Lord Pradyumna told His driver, “Take Me back to where the hero Dyumān is standing. ॥ 10-77-1 ॥

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा: पानी से खुद को तरोताजा करने, अपना कवच पहनने और अपना धनुष उठाने के बाद, भगवान प्रद्युम्न ने अपने चालक से कहा, "मुझे वापस वहां ले चलो जहां नायक द्युमन खड़ा है। ॥ १०-७७-१ ॥

विधमन्तं स्वसैन्यानि द्युमन्तं रुक्मिणीसुतः । प्रतिहत्य प्रत्यविध्यन्नाराचैरष्टभिः स्मयन् ॥ १०-७७-२ ॥
In Pradyumna’s absence, Dyumān had been devastating His army, but now Pradyumna counterattacked Dyumān and, smiling, pierced him with eight nārāca arrows. ॥ 10-77-2 ॥

प्रद्युम्न की अनुपस्थिति में, द्युमन उसकी सेना को तबाह कर रहा था, लेकिन अब प्रद्युम्न ने द्युमन पर पलटवार किया और मुस्कुराते हुए, उसे आठ नारक बाणों से घायल कर दिया। ॥ १०-७७-२ ॥

चतुर्भिश्चतुरो वाहान् सूतमेकेन चाहनत् । द्वाभ्यां धनुश्च केतुं च शरेणान्येन वै शिरः ॥ १०-७७-३ ॥
With four of these arrows He struck Dyumān’s four horses, with one arrow, his driver, with two more arrows, his bow and chariot flag, and with the last arrow, Dyumān’s head. ॥ 10-77-3 ॥

इनमें से चार बाणों से उसने द्युमान के चार घोड़ों को, एक तीर से उसके चालक को, दो अन्य बाणों से उसके धनुष और रथ के ध्वज को और अंतिम बाण से द्युमान के सिर को मारा। ॥ १०-७७-३ ॥

गदसात्यकिसाम्बाद्या जघ्नुः सौभपतेर्बलम् । पेतुः समुद्रे सौभेयाः सर्वे सञ्छिन्नकन्धराः ॥ १०-७७-४ ॥
Gada, Sātyaki, Sāmba and others began killing Śālva’s army, and thus all the soldiers inside the airship began falling into the ocean, their necks severed. ॥ 10-77-4 ॥

गदा, सात्यकि, सांब और अन्य लोगों ने शाल्व की सेना को मारना शुरू कर दिया और इस तरह हवाई जहाज के अंदर के सभी सैनिक समुद्र में गिरने लगे, उनकी गर्दनें कट गईं। ॥ १०-७७-४ ॥

As the Yadus and Śālva’s followers thus went on attacking one another, the tumultuous, fearsome battle continued for twenty-seven days and nights. ॥ 10-77-5 ॥

इस प्रकार जब यदु और शाल्व के अनुयायी एक-दूसरे पर आक्रमण करते रहे, तो सत्ताईस दिनों और रातों तक उग्र, भयानक युद्ध चलता रहा। ॥ १०-७७-५ ॥
