नरोष्ट्रगोमहिषखराश्वतर्यनः करेणुभिः परिजनवारयोषितः । स्वलङ्कृताः कटकुटिकम्बलाम्बराद्युपस्करा ययुरधियुज्य सर्वतः ॥ १०-७१-१६ ॥
On all sides proceeded finely adorned women-attendants of the royal household, as well as courtesans. They rode on palanquins and camels, bulls and buffalo, donkeys, mules, bullock carts and elephants. Their conveyances were fully loaded with grass tents, blankets, clothes and other items for the trip. ॥ 10-71-16 ॥

हर तरफ राजघराने की सजी-धजी महिलाएँ और गणिकाएँ आगे बढ़ रही थीं। वे पालकियों और ऊँटों, बैलों और भैंसों, गधों, खच्चरों, बैलगाड़ियों और हाथियों पर सवार होते थे। उनके वाहन यात्रा के लिए घास के तंबू, कंबल, कपड़े और अन्य वस्तुओं से पूरी तरह भरे हुए थे। ॥ १०-७१-१६ ॥
