एवं मनुष्यपदवीमनुवर्तमानो नारायणोऽखिलभवाय गृहीतशक्तिः । रेमेऽङ्ग षोडशसहस्रवराङ्गनानां सव्रीडसौहृदनिरीक्षणहासजुष्टः ॥ १०-६९- ४४ ॥
In this way Lord Nārāyaṇa imitated the ways of ordinary humans, manifesting His divine potencies for the benefit of all beings. Thus He enjoyed, dear King, in the company of His sixteen thousand exalted consorts, who served the Lord with their shy, affectionate glances and laughter. ॥ 10-69-44 ॥

इस प्रकार भगवान नारायण ने सभी प्राणियों के लाभ के लिए अपनी दिव्य शक्तियों को प्रकट करते हुए, सामान्य मनुष्यों के तरीकों का अनुकरण किया। इस प्रकार, प्रिय राजा, उन्होंने अपनी सोलह हजार श्रेष्ठ पत्नियों की संगति में आनंद लिया, जो अपनी शर्मीली, स्नेह भरी निगाहों और हंसी के साथ भगवान की सेवा करती थीं। ॥ १०-६९- ४४ ॥
